About this event

All competitors must have an ARC competitor number from the NRA's Competitor Site. It's free to create an account and they will assign you a number. You do not need to be an NRA member to get an ARC competitor number.

All competitors must preregister on practiscore at: ARC Level 1 Signup

ARC Level 1 Match

This match is designed to invite beginner to intermediate people with an AR out for an opportunity to compete with one another and improve on, or learn, skills along the way.

There will be a MANDATORY SAFETY BRIEFING before each squad.
The safety briefing for Squad 1 will start at 10 AM.
The safety briefing for Squad 2 will start at 12 PM.
Competitors are more than welcome to come and watch the other squads shoot.

We will fire 4 stages of fire for each squad.

You may only compete once per class type!
Ammo: 100 rounds


Entry fee:
$10 for SRPC Members
$15 for non-SRPC Members
$5 for youth under 18


Divisions:
Stock: 30rnd Mag/20” Barrel/ non-magnified sighting systems
Limited: 30rnd Mag/20” Barrel/ up to 8x scope
Open: Semi-Auto w/Max Barrel 24”/up to 3 sighting systems

This will be a level 1 competition good for the new shooter to the experienced shooter. We will shoot from 10 yds to 100 yds using various positions and introduce you to shooting from a barricade. This match is designed to get you familiar with your firearm as well as prepare you for moving on to that next Level 2 style match.

Rules:
• Only .223/5.56X45, .308/7.62x51, .300 Blackout, 9mm, .40, .45, and .22LR calibers are allowed.
• Each squad will be limited to 10 competitors.

• You are encouraged to bring a shooting mat as you will use the prone, sitting, and kneeling positions.
• Firearms must have a sling for this match as they will be slung for the duration of the match.
• Empty Chamber Indicator is required.
• Competitors will need 4 magazines.
• Must be able to assume the Kneeling and standing positions.
NO RIFLES WITH BINARY OR FORCED RESET TRIGGERS INSTALLED WILL BE ALLOWED.
• Scored using Time Plus format on NRA ARC L1R

Required equipment:
• Rifle or PCC chambered in .223/5.56x45, .308/7.62x51, 300 Blackout, 9mm, .40, .45ACP, or .22LR
• Rifle sling (Any 1, 2 or 3 point sling is allowed per the rulebook)
• Empty Chamber Indicator/chamber flag (weed trimmer string will not work for this activity and therefore will not be allowed)
• 4 magazines for your rifle (Stage 2 requires 4 magazines loaded with 10 rounds each)
100 rounds of ammo (I recommend not bringing your "good" brass if you reload. The spent brass will be scattered in the grass over about 90 yards of range.)
• Eye protection
• Hearing protection

• Shooting mat is recommended, but not required.

Registration:
• All COMPETITORS NEED TO GET A FREE ARC NUMBER FROM THE NRA PRIOR TO SIGNING UP TO SHOOT.  NRA's Competitor Site.
• ALL COMPETITORS MUST REGISTER AND PAY ON PRACTISCORE AHEAD OF TIME.  ARC Level 1 Signup
• THERE WILL BE NO SIGNING UP THE DAY OF THE MATCH.
