Sunny Ridge - 6PM-8:30PM - Movie Night
About this event
May 7th's Movie: Tommy Boy (1995)

Squints Seymore and Scooter Martin were engrossed in a game of checkers in the bunkhouse when old Mickey Monroe stumbles in and plops down and on his bunk and proceeds to remove his boots. "Your feet smell like old cheese" Scooter mumbled. Fingering a hole his big toe poked through in his sock, Mickey looks up and asks, "You fellas hear the news?" What news?"Old Red Oakdale over in Jack Rabbit Gulch passed through the vail last week. He was the wheelwright over there that had a company that made wagon wheels and other parts for wagons, buggies, stage coaches and hand carts. The business wasn't doing so good but now it's in danger of going tits up. His dim-witted and overweight son is in town now trying to drum up business. He's been over at the livery stable harrassing teamsters about needing new or spare wheels for their wagons. His buffoonery is getting a lot of sympathy but I actually think he's making progress. Maybe we ought to put in an order for a new spoke for the buckboard.
This week's movie has a similar theme as Chris Farley as Tommy Callahan and David Spade try to find customers for his father's failing auto parts company.
The movie is a 1995 release directed by Peter Segal. Movie runs 1 hour 37 minutes. Movie will be shown at the EdenBrook basement theater beginning at 6 PM. Food and beverages will be provided by the "posse." The movie will be shown on Thursday, May 7th, rather than on Wednesday, May 6th.
